| Following last week's covered hopper photos, I thought I would add some interesting open top hoppers. A pair of RRLX hoppers appear to be former Oregon, Pacific and Eastern equipment but that's just a guess. Also a pair of ballast hoppers (CN 90431 in MOW orange and recently painted LGEX 4778) I shot at a quarry operation at Dell Rapids, Souther Dakota (20 miles north of Sioux Fals). There are also Chicago Northwestern, Missouri Pacific, Soo Line, Rio Grande and Union Pacific hoppers. | ||||||||||||||||||||
